about

Three composers. Three perspectives of this time.

We commissioned three Australian composers to draw on the thoughts and feelings arising from the global pandemic of 2020. In collaboration with composers, players and a sound engineer, we explored ways in which elements of spontaneity and deep connection might still be present in a very different form of “chamber music” – one in which recordings were made from isolation, and following the guidelines of physical distancing.

We are delighted to be working with composers:
Jakub JANKOWSKI
Luke ALTMANN
Peter de JAGER
